I’ve had family dogs my whole life and currently am caring for my personal second one, a sweet & well-mannered male Bernese Mountain dog. I have experience in positive reinforcement dog training with my latest two dogs and have a fairly deep understanding of canine behavior and an overall love for this species! I’ve also cared for large farm animals for a year in VT and help raise chickens at my home. I have experience in bathing & grooming my own (double coat—hairy!) dog, make my own food for him, and take care of his teeth, ears and hygiene in general.

She has experience training through positive reinforcement methods, as she trained her own dog, Sonny that way. She has years of dog experience and definitely has tremendous patience with all dog breeds. I love to provide dogs stimulation and a chance to do what dogs do—play, walk/run, sniff, explore, & am a big user of stuffing and freezing KONGS for the dogs to safely chew. And if your dog enjoys snuggles and pets—I’m your gal! I take my own dog on walks to different parks and on special days—to more open and dynamic spaces.

I’m currently working part-time so I have space in my schedule for your dog and your needs. My schedule is flexible and I understand what is needed to fully care for a pet/companion at all stages of his/her life.
