Pet care experience
I have been in love with dogs for as long as I can remember, and have always dreamt of having my own. I have experience with dogs of any size, have helped train a golden retriever puppy from 8 weeks, and have also trained an 8 year old cocker spaniel to give paw amongst other tricks after only being able to “sit” for years! I think all dogs deserve to be loved and cared for and love spending my free time with them. I have curated a very good profile on “borrow my doggy” but am now seeking to expand to Rover instead.

Lauren just loves dogs and they find her irresistible in return, she’s the best and most fun trainer and carer my dog has ever been fortunate to meet. My dog literally jumps out of my car and into Lauren’s arms squealing with delight and never wants to leave! In addition Lauren is kind and firm and knowledgeable about my dogs needs. Lauren loves dogs. She has always loved dogs! She is an absolute natural with them. I’ve seen her teach dogs tricks and teach basic training. At home she has regularly looked after at least 4 dogs (that I know about!) for other people and since she’s been at university, she joined borrow my doggy .com just to be able to spend time and look after lots of peoples dogs in between her studies! Each time, I know owners have been keen to use her again. Thoroughly recommended.

A typical day
Morning walk, then a nice relaxing afternoon including treats and playtime. I would also provide an additional lunch walk if the dog is higher energy!

Availability
I’m currently a student at university writing my dissertation and conducting laboratory based research, so my availability is fairly limited to the weekends or early mornings on some weekdays.
