Pet care experience
Ever since I was 4, I’ve had dogs in my life. I’ve cared for big dogs, little dogs, multiple dogs, and the occasional cat here and there! I have experience with all ages of dogs and all the different personalities they have (yes, including the aggressive and naughty ones) I have a soft spot for older doggies 💓. I have experience with overnight stays at client’s houses and drop-in visits. I love animals and they tend to love me too! I understand how stressful it is trusting someone to take care of your pet. I expect nothing but the highest quality of care, love, and attention for my own dog and I treat every dog in my care the exact same. I would be happy to offer you peace of mind by being the one that takes care of your fur baby.

Not many sitters have had luck with our Lily. She can be stand-offish and at times aggressive. We knew Lauren was the right fit for us when Lily couldn’t stop wagging her tail and wouldn’t leave Lauren’s side during our meet and greet. Lauren followed Lily’s care instructions to a T. Lily was never left alone longer than 5 hours, and when Lauren was in our home, Lily was showered in attention and affection. Lauren kept us updated throughout her stay with constant pictures and texts. We will only be using Lauren from now on to watch our Lily!
Lauren was awesome! She is very communicative, which made me feel comfortable since it was my first time with a new dog sitter in the area.

In my clients home, I love to cuddle and give your fur babies the attention they want and need (should your doggy be a cuddler). Even though my current schedule cannot accommodate doggies needing constant care, I prioritize my time outside of class/lab around your pup 🐶❤️I love taking pictures and updating owners while they are away. Having had naughty dogs in the past (as well as having to experience emergency surgery to remove an obstruction in my own dog), I am hyper vigilant about keeping food/shoes/non-doggy things out of reach. I also enjoy playing fetch and giving doggy treats. I am happy to keep your pet entertained with any type of enrichment you request!

Feeding schedule, potty schedule, medicine schedule. How is your dog on walks (walking past other people, dogs, children)? How is your dog when they are alone? Does you dog have any history of aggression? Does your dog have a tendency to get into things (trash, the shoes left out, things left on the counter)? Does your dog love attention and cuddles or are they more independent? Where does your dog typically sleep? How to appropriately discipline your dog, if needed?
A typical day
I love to play with dogs and their toys. I am a firm believer in outside time and making sure your doggy gets some vitamin D every day. I love talking and singing to my own dog, and I’ve gotten pretty good at remixing songs about them ? You can be sure I’ll do the same with your pet! I love having coffee shop music on while I’m studying and I like to leave it playing for the pets I watch when I have to step out.

Availability
I am a graduate student and while I’m usually in the lab, my work day is flexible and I have many opportunities to check-in on your fur baby throughout the day! Dogs that are OK being left alone for a few hours work best with my schedule.
