Pet care experience
Taking care of cats and dogs for the past ten years has been one of the greatest joys of my life! Through my passion for animals, I’m dedicated to giving them all my love, time, and attention to them. That’s why my neighbors, clients, and friends have trusted me to care for their furry little friends throughout the years. I have also worked with puppies as young as one-year-old and senior dogs. My sweet pitbull, Esme, is an allergy dog who is also deaf. So, I have practiced administering both oral and topical medications and working with an impaired hearing animal.

Gaining your pet’s trust at their pace and making them feel as comfortable as possible is of the utmost importance to me. When meeting a new pet, I approach them gently and allow them to sniff my hand and get to know me on their terms.

Please let me know if your dog has any physical/behavioral accommodations and if they have a specific routine they like to stick to. Also, what their likes and/or dislikes are. (i.e. do they get frazzled by skateboarders, are they sensitive to certain sounds?)
A typical day
When stimulating dogs and basing it off their energy levels, I like to initiate both mental and physical activities. For mental stimulation, a good play nose work games such as which treat the hand is in and where are the treats in the room. Along with going on walks, I also like to produce physical stimulation through play such as tug-of-war and fetch. I will adjust to your dog’s energy level to avoid overwhelming them.
