I will ask about temperament and behaviors such as leash pulling, etc before booking. Most of my visits my toddler will be attending with me so if your dog doesn’t like young children we may not be a good fit for each other. Although I do want to ensure you how important it is to me I teach good manners and animal etiquette to my child, they are very aware not to get in dog’s faces and they are mindful and practiced with soft hands.

It depends on the animal I am watching, sometimes when I arrive for pet care I can tell my kitty friend needs some pets and snuggles. They get my lap, two hands, and full attention. Other times I spend an hour going for a long walk to get the pup’s wiggles out, followed by a hearty game of fetch and then I assemble a tasty licky mat for some additional enrichment just before leaving.
