I have lived with dogs my whole life (and prefer them to people most of the time!), and my husband and I regularly open our home up to dogs/puppies that we foster for a local rescue so you could say we have a LITTLE experience with taking care of dogs. We currently have two dogs of our own, a 9-yr-old Mini Goldendoodle, and a 4-yr-old Border Collie/GSD/Husky mix. We know how hard it can be to find people you trust to watch your dogs for a reasonable cost, so we are happy to provide reliable and loving pet-watching services for you. Our younger dog LOVES playmates, so if your dog is super playful, he/she will probably have a great time at our place! We do have two cats as well - one who pretty much keeps to himself and is great at hiding from our dogs when he doesn't want to be bothered, and another who is very social and loves playing with our dogs. He is not afraid of anything, so if your dog has a high prey drive, please consider a different dog sitter -- we love our cat but he does not have the best "street smarts" if you will. We don't want him to become lunch! My husband and I live in a 2-bedroom 1st floor apartment in a multi-family home in New Rochelle, NY. We have a large private fenced-in yard with plenty of space to run and play. We both work full time jobs Mon-Fri, but I often have flexible scheduling where I can usually stop home at some point mid-day, and then once we get home, we spend a lot of time outside with the pups to make sure they get some good exercise in! We also do have a puppy-cam in our living room that we use to keep an eye on everyone while we are not home!
