Pet care experience
Every since I was a little girl, we've had dogs - everything from dachshunds to great danes! I believe all pets should be treated like family, which means that patience, respect, and care go into every visit. I look forward to getting to know you and your pets!

When visiting your pet, it's important to me that we go over clear expectations. How would you like me to walk them and where? Do they have any treats (or food allergies), and where are their toys? Are they a "couch potato" or are zoomies more their speed? I am able to complete small tasks while at your home, such as bringing in your mail or watering a plant, so don't hesitate to ask!

Please let me know your pet's walking preferences ahead of time, as well as any commands or rules when walking (sit before crossing streets, use treats to refocus when other dogs are around, etc.). I am able to let the dog lead me or have them heel next to me and I want to reinforce any training you've given them.
A typical day
Typically when I'm walking a dog, I like to start by ensuring I have all items for the walk (treats, poop bags, etc.) and greeting the dog to get an idea of how they're feeling. Then, I snap on their leash and we're off! If it's rainy, I will make sure to towel them off as best I can once we are home!

Availability
I work 12-9 Monday-Friday, so I'm available in the mornings or late evenings on weekdays. On weekends, my schedule tends to be open and I can visit anytime of the day.
