New to Rover, but Animal Expert! 🐢
Pet care experience
I love all animals ... and I'm not kidding. I love dogs to horses to spiders to monkeys to possums to turtles! Through my pet sitting and many other jobs, I have personally cared for all of the following species: dogs (including service puppies in training), cats, horses, turtles, rats, monkeys, tortoises, spiders, ducks, fish, bearded dragons, chameleons, leopard geckos, crested geckos, bunnies, guinea pigs, cockatoos, cockatiels, macaws, lovebirds, and feral cats. I'm happy to tell you all about those experiences because who doesn't love talking about how amazing (and annoying) animals can be. 😃

I'm so happy with my Lady's stay with Lauren! I love the pictures and updates that I have gotten. I know she is being well cared for and any anxieties I had about being away from my pup is gone.
Lauren is an amazing person and even better pet minder! Her kind-hearted nature and experience with vet medicine made me feel extremely comfortable and confident leaving my animals in her care. It is never easy having to leave your pets, but knowing Lauren was there to play with, walk, feed and even give medications to my pets makes leaving so much easier. Not everyone is willing/able to pet sit for rats, so finding Lauren was a true blessing! Lauren was our go-to, top choice pet sitter and dog walker for four years before she moved cross country. She took care our golden retriever and our two rats as if they were her own. I could not have asked for a kinder, more professional, or animal loving individual than Lauren! I have come home to happy and healthy critters every time. I cannot encourage you enough to snag Lauren as you pet minder!
Lauren is a responsible caregiver. She treats each animal she cares for as her own. She does well communicating with owners. I have no hesitation in trusting Lauren with the care of my pets. She knows how to recognize if something is wrong and provides updates as well. She has many years of experience and has a warm, friendly demeanor. Definitely book Lauren as a caregiver for your pets!
Lauren is a very considerate, professional, and responsible person. Combining that with her love and respect for animals and her extensive experience with pets, she’s the perfect dog sitter and dog walker! I’ve known Lauren for years, and during that time, we trained a service puppy together. She was always very thorough and always had the puppy’s wellbeing and training top of mind. I like to exercise a dog's body and mind with frequent walks, enrichment toys (such as kongs stuffed with frozen wet dog food), dental chews, and safe one-on-one dog play dates, and a local medium sized dog park. Note, the dog park is completely fenced and I know all the dogs that go to it, so I will be able to predict whether or not they are a good playmate for your pet. I have a reflective leash and jacket for myself and for your dog when we go for night walks. That being said, my neighborhood is safe and fairly well lit so it's overkill. I'm just am a bit paranoid of a dog mom cuz I love my pets so much. :)

A typical day
I can provide all sorts enrichment such as visits to a local dog park, walks on the nearby greenway footpath, puzzle toys, and doggy popsicles!

Availability
My schedule is free Thursdays, Saturdays, and Sundays and there is nothing more I would like doing then spending it with your pet! Unfortunately, I work very long shifts the rest of the week so those are currently my only available days. However, as I get more experience with Rover I might be able to increase my available days.
