Pet care experience
I have always had a special place in my heart for dogs. I am the first person asked when it comes to taking care of my family members and neighbors dogs. I will take care of and love them like they are my own. I have a 2 year old Golden Retriever who is my whole entire world, and he would love to have visiting friends! He gets along great with other dogs, so friendly dogs visiting is a must! We are an active household that loves playing fetch, walks, and exploring the trails in the woods behind our house. For puppies, I am willing to work with them and train them during their time with me. I can help with house training/crate training as well as basic commands like sit and stay. I offer basic grooming including bath, blow dry, and brushing for an additional $25.

Lauren was the best! Denver (our dog) loved her and Walter (Lauren’s dog) so much that he wasn’t even that excited to see us when we came to pick him up. Can’t recommend Lauren enough, especially if you are planning a hike in the whites and can’t quite bring your dog with you.
Fantastic communication, great sitter. My Nebby had so much fun with her pup Walter- to the point that a few hours later when I mentioned his name, she went looking for him!
Lauren is very kind and attentive. 12/10 would use her again when the time comes. My dog was much happier with her then he was with the boarding place.

I try to create an environment that is as stress free and normal for your dog as possible, my goal is for your dog to feel right at home when they are with me. The whole home is air conditioned in the summer and heated in the winter. Your pet will have access to the whole house including furniture if they desire. (We always say this is Walter, our goldens house not ours). Access to water all day long and twice a day feeding times. We are a very pet friendly home with a good sized yard for them to run and play. My house is on a dead end so on or off lead play is available depending on client request. I would recommend and encourage my clients to meet with my dog and see my home before the scheduled boarding.

A typical day
We will play games, go on walks, and explore new and exciting smells. If time allows, or your dog will be spending any type of extended time with me, we will likely find ourselves exploring wooded walking trails.

Availability
I currently work only minutes from home and come home in the middle of the day to let my dog and any dogs visiting outside. Saturday and Sunday I am home all day. Morning and evening walks are a daily routine. My fiancée typically gets home a few hours before me so an average day includes the dog home alone for about 6 hours total. I have a very flexible schedule so changes and adaptations can be made if needed.
