I'd love to care for your animals!
Pet care experience
Animals for me have always been a part of the family more so than just pets, and I treat them as such. I grew up with German Shepherds, a small lap dog, and a cat and also adopted an Aussie/Golden mix that had a physical disability. Aside from caring for my own animals, I have also watched and helped train multiple animals from other homes ranging from family members, friends, coworkers and strangers and have volunteered at multiple humane societies, shelters, and private rescue practices. I also have experience working at a pet store so aside from knowledge I've learned from my own experiences, I've also continued to learn from others. I know how much my animals have meant to me, so I know how much yours mean to you. You and I both want one thing: the best care for your animals, I'd love to be the one to make sure your animals get the care and love they deserve while you're away! If you have any questions, please feel free to reach out!
Reviews
Lauren went above and beyond for our dogs! She came over before actually watching them to make sure they would be comfortable around her and they fell in love instantly. During our trip she made sure to send us updates and photos and videos without being asked which really helped put us at ease seeing how happy they were! I would highly recommend Lauren to anyone who wants their animals to be cared for like they’re her own.
Lauren has been raised with pets her whole life. She has helped with the care, basic and advanced training with all of our dogs. Lauren left Michigan to attend college in Utah and while out there felt called to rescue a tri-pod dog, which by the way, put her plans to travel on hold. "Lighnin'" had been adopted and returned twice because of behavioral issues because of the trauma of being in a car crash that took the lives of his humans, but Lauren made a promise to him that she would never leave him and he lived his happiest life with her until recently when he passed away. I have never known anyone who truly loves animals the way that Lauren does and anyone that entrusts their pet with her should feel confident that she will always put the needs of their pet over everything else.

In my experience, it's best for the pets to try and keep their routines and practices as close to normal as possible. Whatever you do with/for your pet, expect me to do the same! Whether you prefer your dog to be crated during certain times, left out to roam, or even taken to a park, just let me know what your pet likes and I'll make sure they have a great time while you're gone!
Information Lauren M. would like to know about your pet
Prior to taking care of dogs, I generally like to get a little description of their personalities. That way I can better accommodate for their wants and needs and it also allows me to help judge if their behavior is normal while you're away which is beneficial when trying to make sure nothing goes wrong. If they have any preferences or things they do/don't like, along with any past trauma or mental/physical issues, those are all things I prefer to know so that I can prepare myself to care for them in the best way possible.
A typical day
Depending on what your dog likes, I have trails, walks/hikes, and parks that I'm familiar with to help keep your pup happy and healthy. Whether your dog prefers to sit inside and chill out, or run around and play ball, I'm happy to do it all!

Availability
I'm currently working part-time so I'll have plenty of time to make sure your animals are well-cared for! My work schedule is somewhat consistent but may vary slightly week to week. Regardless of work, I can guarantee to make more than enough time to care for your pet and make sure they're happy and healthy while you're away.
