Pet care experience
I've always been a huge animal lover! From the time I was a young girl, I've had at least one pet in my home. I've owned and cared for dogs, cats, horses, guinea pigs, hamsters and birds. Currently, we have a dog, a cat and 2 guinea pigs. Over the years, I've pet-sit for many friends and even trained a young dog for the disabled. I also personally trained our now passed on labrador retriever from the time he was a pup.

We live on 5 acres in a quiet neighborhood, with a fenced in yard, so there's lots of room to run. Since I have three children (15, 14, 11) and a husband who are always thrilled to welcome furry houseguests, your dog would find no lack of love or attention here. Tug-of-war, fetch or a swim in the pond (in the summer) are all possibilities! My oldest daughter is hoping to become a vet and has plenty of dog-walking & dog-sitting experience as well. Our whole family enjoys taking our little chihuahua, Lucy on walks and we'd be happy to have your doggie join us! Lucy just wants to be best friends with every other dog she meets and even loves our outdoor cat. Lucy is a spayed female. Our cat tolerates her fine, though she doesn't love strange dogs and will likely hide away from yours.

I like to know your furry family members normal routine so their stay with us can be as seamless as possible. Also, they need to be ok with other dogs and kids since I have both!
A typical day
We love to play fetch, hide the toy, tug of war and go on walks in our house. Since we live on 5 acres in the country, we have access to plenty of places to walk and play!
