Hi! My name is Lauren, and I've had dogs for my entire life. I currently have an 8-year-old Siberian Husky and a 4-year-old Havenese/Terrier mix that are the absolute loves of my life--I don't know where or who I would be without them. Along with having cared for my own dogs since I was very young, I had the pleasure of working at a local PetValu for two years. Here, I was required to take online courses to learn about general pet nutrition, as well as how to keep our furry friends healthy overall. Not only did I learn a great deal about general pet health, but I had the opportunity to interact with many different types of pets, which only strengthened my passion for animals. While puppies and kittens are my favorites, I was also lucky enough to interact with reptiles, birds, and other types of furry friends.
