Pet care experience
Hi my names Lauren, I'm a 24 year old illustrator/designer based in Bristol. I also share this account with my partner Ben, who is a 25 year old project manager who works from home. Together, we live in a spacious flat in Westbury Park, nicely situated next to the Downs. We are trust worthy and experienced dog owners/ carers, with 20+ years experience looking after dogs. 16 of those years caring for my dog Rory (cairn/westie) - I had Rory from the age of 4 up to 2019 when he sadly passed. Since moving to University in Bristol in 2018, we initially cared for dogs on the app 'Borrow my doggy' and for the last four years we have happily been using Rover! We live in a spacious ground floor flat and are both massive dog lovers and always enjoy when a dog comes to stay. We both tend to work from home mainly, so we have the freedom to fit our time around looking after/walking your dog. We have a small patio garden, but are also a 2 minute walk away from the downs. First overnight stay for Otis. Lauren & Ben were so caring with him. He is an anxious boy and they looked after him superbly. Giving him lots of cuddles and some great walks. He was so happy with them. It was lovely to see. Will definitely be using them again. Thank you both.
Otis always has a great time at Ben & Lauren’s and is clearly happy and comfortable there. It’s fantastic to know he is well looked after and we couldn’t recommend Ben & Lauren more highly!

Otis had a great day at Ben & Lauren’s and we’re so pleased with how well he was looked after. Ben sent us regular updates and pics throughout the day and it was clear that Otis was settled, happy and comfortable. We’d definitely recommend them and hopefully will be able to book Otis in for a stay again!

This can depend on the type of stay, typical key responsibilities are: taking your dog for 3 walks a day (one at least 45min long), feeding as per their normal schedule, plenty of love cuddles & attention, providing wee breaks min every 2hours, constant water access, entertainment and comfortable places to sleep :)

A typical day
We absolutely love taking dogs for walks on the downs and other nearby green spaces! Also close-by, we enjoy taking our little visitors to Redland Park, St. Andrews, Horfield Common or Baddock's Wood.

Availability
Between the two of us, we are very flexible in terms of caring for the dogs. Ben works from home so has plenty of time for morning and lunchtime walks - we are also flexible in terms of drop-off/ pick-up times :) We are always free in the evening for walks and downtime with the dogs - they usually settle in well and enjoy our spacious flat.
