Pet care experience
I have had dogs my whole life and really do love & care for them. I have dog sat/house sat for many of my family & friends as well as some clients. I am getting back on Rover. I was working for clients outside Rover and caring for my own dog but I am back and ready to provide my services! I am very responsible and upfront. I will always inform you of my capabilities and never take on a pet I did not feel I could adequately give the proper care. I do have experience with medication management & taking care of older/sick dogs. My first dog had diabetes & I had to do insulin shots multiple times a day & manage her diet. I am a recent grad and this is my way to earn a little money & also enjoy my time spent with animals. I will truly love and care for your animal as if they were my own. Lauren is great! She was easy to communicate with and quick to respond. Even when our plans changed and we suddenly had to go out of town several days earlier, Lauren was able to easily accommodate the change and extended the stay. Our dog absolutely loved Lauren and was at ease with her immediately. Lauren provided great updates and made sure we knew what was going on. Will definitely use Lauren again!
Lauren is a very responsible young lady who prides herself on demonstrating kindness, respect, and integrity. She loves dogs and I have seen dogs of all breeds respond very well to her gentle and loving spirit. The first dog that she owned became ill with diabetes and needed a high level of care including daily insulin injectables and a special diet. Lauren was very disciplined in administering care for her dog to optimize her health. She also enjoys playing with animals and taking them for walks and other adventures. I would not hesitate for a moment to entrust my dog to her care, short term or long term.

I listen to all specific instructions and always ask important safety questions like door locking, using a crate, making sure everything is out of reach, etc. I enjoy spending time with animals in their own home environment where they are most at ease and able to be themselves. I do have a very friendly poodle mix pup so if your pup would like a friend for walks, I can definitely bring my pup along for some playtime and enriched walking. If you would like your pup to have only solo walks, that also works perfectly! Ultimately it is up to you and your pup!

Before sitting a dog I would just like to get a feel for their personality and their needs. If they like certain toys or playing a certain way would be useful to know. Also specific information involving food/treats or any restrictions your dog might have. I truly want to make this experience enjoyable for your pet & give you some piece of mind. I do have pet medication management so if your pup needs that, we can asses to make sure I can give your pup proper care.
A typical day
If I watch your dog, the activities will be fun and attuned to your dogs wants, needs, and abilities. Going for walks, playing with toys, and lots of love and petting. Depending on what your pet enjoys, I can make it happen.
