Pet care experience
I am very confident in my ability to provide excellent care for your pet! I'm a Navy veteran and have been heavily involved with dog rescue, which has given me plenty of experience. I have fostered litters of puppies, dogs with severe anxiety and history of bites, and dogs with medical conditions (MegaE, diabetes, cancer, etc). I prefer to formally introduce myself and meet you and your pet(s) and go over their routine before confirming booking. I am up for anything regarding drop-in visits like taking your pet for a walk, bringing in your mail, willing to clean up any messes- maybe a puppy isn't fully potty trained, or you have a senior who's sometimes incontinent. I do drop in visits for any species. And I LOVE to take photos and will keep you updated with photos of your pets :)

I really appreciate the care Lauren provided for my 2 cats. The cats seem as satisfied as I do. One of the cats recently needs insulin injections for diabetes- I have been concerned about leaving home since that's become part of my pets daily care...all of this was handled confidently, efficiently, and professionally by Lauren. Some questions I might ask: Where are their things (food, water, medicine, toys, leash/collar) located? Where are cleaning supplies located, in case there is a mess? Are your pets allowed on furniture? How do they typically react when you're gone? Any behaviors I should be made aware of? Any medical concerns or allergies? Can I bring my own treats?
A typical day
I have many enrichment toys that I like to incorporate into my visits for dogs! Snuffle mats and puzzles are my favorite for providing some mental stimulation. I'd love to play with their favorite toys, tug or throwing a ball, or take them out for a walk or run! I'd also enjoy teaching your dog some tricks.

Availability
I just moved to Janesville and currently have a very open schedule! If there is a concern of a time I may not be able to fill, I will let you know immediately and discuss with you. My partner is also an animal lover and might be able to fill in should that issue arise- but only with your approval.
