Lauren is AWSOME. Working with her to set up the multiple dog care events she as hosted for us has been easy because she is amazingly flexible and responsive. The doggies LOVE her, and especially for one of our dogs, that is quite a feat. We will definitely be working with Lauren again.

Lauren has always had a love for dogs and grew up in house with 3. She always goes out of her way to make sure all dogs are loved and cared for. She's great with all breeds but has ample experience with Blue Heelers having brought up 2. In addition, she is my go to sitter whenever I go out of town for my 4 year-old Blue Heeler who is leash reactive. She knows what ...

Let me start off by saying this, I have never met anyone with as much compassion and love for animals as Lauren. She cares about all animals on this planet, but dogs are absolutely her favorite! She’s been a dog owner and lover since she was a young girl, you could almost say she likes them more than humans. I can always count on her to take excellent care of my pit bull terrier ...

My family calls me the dog advocate

I am fun and affectionate and love all types and sizes of dogs. I grew up with two Australian Blue Heelers and a Lab Shepard mix. I am used to taking care of dogs with a lot of energy and needs. I also take care of a Pitbull Frenchie mix, whom I adore. I like to take my dogs to Magnuson's off-leash dog park to throw the ball around and give them time to socialize ...

What Lauren would like to know about your dog

I would like to know what the dog's favorite activities are so I can best accommodate them. It's important for me to help dogs feel completely comfortable with me in the absence of their owner because I know how stressful it can be on them when their human is away. That's why the meet and greet service that Rover offers is so awesome, because it gives myself, the owner and the dog the perfect opportunity to get to know each other better and determine if we're a good fit. Before a stay, I would also like to know the dietary schedule and nutritional requirements of the dog to ensure that they are eating their regular amount at set intervals that are established with the pet owner. Any allergies or health requirements for dogs are also important for me to know prior to my stay so I can best guarantee their comfort level and well-being. I think it's also crucial to know the personality type of the dog. For example, if a dog is anxious, or tries to escape from the front yard, do they have a tendency to try to get into the trash, are they good around kids and other dogs, do they bite when nervous, etc. Learning this information and getting to know your pooch will help me modify my dog-sitting skills to the specific needs of your pet so they receive exceptional care tailored to them. I love all dog breeds and grew up with a wide range of diverse dogs (size, temperament, age, breed, and health). Dogs are truly man's and woman's best friend and it's my goal to show them the same kindness, companionship, adventure, and unconditional regard that they bestow on all of us.
