Pet care experience
I used to work at Lucys Doggie Day Care for 2 years in high school and I absolutely loved it!!! I’m well diverse in caring for different types of dogs and their specific needs! I’m also familiar with cats as well! I’m comfortable with all types of dogs and cats. I even know how to administer most basic medicines to animals if needed. I’m a senior at Texas State University. I have plenty of free time in the afternoons and I have weekends off as well. I have a one year old dog named Peanut who loves all dogs and will reluctantly share her toys! I always make sure every animal is fed on time and taken out for potty breaks regularly.

Lauren was awesome throughout the whole experience having someone watch over our Chemito. She came and visited prior to her stay and her communication was on point the whole time. Our Chemito absolutely loved her as we could see from the photos and videos she sent us while we were away. We will definitely be using her again.

Lauren was so patient and took time getting to know our nervous dog before she came to dog sit. The dogs did well with her and she was very responsive!
Lauren is amazing! We loved having her watch our two pups and seeing the pictures and videos of them enjoying their time with her. It really made our vacation so much more relaxing knowing they were so well taken care of!

In my apartment there is a great dog park where we spend most of our free time. It’s enclosed and very safe. I am very attentive to every animal I watch and will send many pictures and videos of your fur babies!

If the dog needs any medication or has certain things that will trigger him/her. If the dog is aggressive with other animals. I would also like to know if the dog has any past trauma. For example I use to watch this dog who was abused before he was adopted and because of that he is terrified of feet.
A typical day
I love to play fetch or games with the dogs I watch. Tug-a-war is one of my favorites! We will also check out this cool hidden path in my neighborhood that’s super fun! Especially with high energy dogs playing outside is a must.

My school schedule is Tuesday-Thursday from 8-2and I have weekends off! I am very flexible in my schedule as well if something were to come up or was needed at a certain time.
