Hi! My name is Lauren. Thank you for considering letting me make your pup happiest! Animals have always put the biggest smile on my face, especially dogs. Ever since I was young I’ve volunteered with shelters and aided in raising family dogs, from all walks of life. I have been caring for: dogs, cats, & bunnies for years, ever since I was around 7. I currently work from home, I find my pup is the best relief and would love to care for others, as it genuinely brings so much joy! Rest assured, I will treat yours like I treat mine, as my fur baby is my child and crucial to a happy life! Although I do gravitate towards doggos more, I love all kinds of animals and share the same compassionate values towards them all. I’ve always grown up with animals around me, you can rest easy knowing I’m super comfortable & not shy with furry friends. At my previous job, being in tenant relations, everyone knew to bring their dogs into my office, and to expect me to let them jump all over me in passing! As I always say, they are not pets, but needed family members in my eyes! Some may think I’m perhaps overfamiliar with bathing, training, fostering and I can assist with anything basic obedience to specialized care for senior/health specific. My building complex even has a secure dog run. My pup has never been happier here! I would love to bring your pup here, too! I have an adorable mini goldendoodle named Lily, who is 5 years and is a seasoned pro with foster dogs/cats, as well as playdates! She is very adaptable, curious, and friendly with all animals she encounters! She even loves bunnies and has proven to be gentle and sweet with the smallest ones. Just for precaution, she has never not gotten along with an animal, but for both of our pet’s best interests, I do require a meet & greet between our fur babies if you’re unsure of your doggie being around others. This is to ensure they get along prior to accepting bookings.

Lauren was extremely accommodating and reliable, even when booking last minute. She took care of our 100+lb dog (who can at times be a handful) with ease. We received pictures and updates throughout our dogs stay and felt at peace knowing our fur baby was in great hands. Thanks so much Lauren! We won’t hesitate to book with Lauren again.
I couldn’t be more thankful to have Lauren babysit my Little one! I got pictures multiple times a day of my happy pup playing, eating, snuggling which meant the world. Lauren was a fabulous communicator and obviously a natural with dogs! I think my dog was genuinely sorry to leave her place. Thank you Lauren for taking the best care of my most beloved! We can’t wait to come back :)

I have a friendly girl named Lily to keep yours company, if allowed! My apartment building is upgraded with technology to ensure resident and animal safety. What I love most about my building is the dog friendly community. I can let Lily run down the hallway off leash to get her zoomies out, and neighbors are so welcoming towards her. There is a beautiful courtyard path to walk dogs with pet waste stations, and a secure, fenced in dog run in our complex. I would love to bring your baby here, as this is not just a human’s paradise, but dog’s one as well! I can also adapt and come to you, Stamford is wonderful and I’m sure I can find a nearby path or stay in the comfort of your home to take care of your loved one, if that’s more of their thing. What my clients like: -I love all pets as if they’re my own -That I instill basic training such as sit, stay, come, paw, shake, and leash walking -That my complex has a fully fenced in dog run and is super dog friendly -The ability to make a new friend with my own pup, Lily -That I provide swift responses, photos, videos, and updates throughout service, even before/after booking. I’m always reachable -I’m an enthusiastic photographer and provide plentiful photos -I have heaps of experience and dogs naturally bond with me -I clean up poop/accidents -Animals show they enjoy coming here -There’s both shade & sun around my complex -I carry water & treats everywhere I go

Let me know if you have any concerns, or any tips to ensure we have the best time! (Does your buddy bark/growl at other dogs, jump on people, anything that you’d like me to know)? Any special needs or accommodations I should be aware of in advance? Please let me know if your pup is ok with being around other dogs, depending on your comfort level, I will walk your baby with mine, or give them 1-1 time. Any quirks, special tendencies, fears, or items you would like me to work on with your pup; if there are any dietary restrictions, toys/treats you do not want them to have. I have a general knowledge for certain breed behaviors, and needs for water, overheating, anxiety, etc. What do they like to do during the day? Are they very active? Are they just cuddle buds? Do they have separation anxiety? I would love to do anything I can to make them feel at home!
A typical day
We’ll start by checking out all the new smells, and explore the scenic dog walking path in my building’s courtyard. Depending on the levels of activity your pup has, activities will vary! For high energy pups: We’ll start with a walk leading up to the dog run, then make our way in and play a bunch of games! If your pup likes fetch, we will play lots of it. If your pup is ok with dogs, hopefully they can make some fur buddies if other pups are present! They’ll be free to run and do as they please, as it is safe & enclosed. Low energy/senior doggo: We will still start with a walk of course, then go back to my apartment if they are ok with it, & sleep/rest. I will provide water and hugs! Also, if they are ok with it, I will hide some treats for them to find, or if they are too tired, I will give them treats anyways! Please specify if there are any to avoid. My baby loves peanut butter so I always have it stocked! I can also make pup cups if they can have whipped cream.

I am currently working from home, and can provide potty breaks as frequently as needed! My job is pretty flexible, so expect dog park runs mid day as well! Side note: My boyfriend & I live together, he has taken Lily in as his own since the day we met! He has a shorter day than me most of the time, working only until 12/1. So, even if I’m working, he will be home and ensuring your baby is not alone! I’m committed to providing care solely, however, I do want clients to know what they can expect in my home. *I would never cede care, custody, or control of a pet to anyone else during my service.* The health & safety of your pets are our top priority, followed very closely by their happiness. You’ll be booking one sitter, but your furry friend will be getting the love & attention of both of us!
