Hi, my name is Lauren. I have a 6-year-old (supposedly) 100% American Staffordshire Terrior named Remington and my boyfriend has a 5-year-old chocolate lab/beagle mix named Lincoln (we call them the brown bois). I love taking the time to support others who are passionate and love their pets. My pet-sitting ventures began in 2009 for a family friend who had a Soft-coated Wheaten Terrier that had Patterson Park nearby. Since then, I've come to realize the enrichment I get from pet-sitting. After a long day in the office, it is rejuvenating to witness a dog's shared appreciation of getting outdoors (cats are great too, sunbathing is great!). I have experience with cats, dogs, guinea pigs, and rabbits (fyi). I have experience with walks on a consistent basis, house sitting for over a week, and short-term drop-ins. I work a full-time office job, so I wouldn't say that I'm an ideal sitter during the week for a pet that may need more attention. But if you're looking for someone who can continue your work-week routine with your pets, I can easily adapt and provide whatever your pet may need. Your value of your pets should be reflected in the price you are willing to pay for sitting. I do not negotiate my rates. My time is also valuable and I put my heart into my work.
