Pet care experience
My family has had a total of five Golden Retrievers in our home. I am responsible for assisting family and friends pets in the city of Philadelphia that are both small and large. I am comfortable with all dog breeds and ages. I am hoping to be a part of Rover to assist individuals and households that need the help to get their dog fed, taken out, or played with. I live alone so I am interested in any dog that would be comfortable with walks, going to parks, or just having time to play inside or outside of their homes or my own dependent on preference. At home with my family, I have an eight-month-old Golden Retriever puppy who is in training and but still all puppy, and an older seven-year-old Golden Retriever who is much more calm.

Lauren is mature, responsible and caring. She has two dogs and a chinchilla and is an excellent caregiver. She loves animals and will take excellent care of your pup, young or old, energetic or laid back. She will take care of your dog like she would her own!
Lauren is the perfect candidate for a dog sitter. She is kind, compassionate, and amazing with dogs. I’ve seen her interact with her dogs, my sisters dog, and my own. She is disciplined and responsible. I would trust her with my puppy any day.

Happy to have food for whatever feeding schedule an owner may have and water available at all times. I am very comfortable administering medicine or any specific needs for the pets. I am happy to be within someones home but also happy to have the pets at my home. I also have a vehicle so if your dog likes to hike I am always willing to take them to dog parks, the trails, or wherever.

A typical day
I live on Drexel University’s campus so there are many parks and green spaces near me if a dog ever comes to the area and has high energy and needs a nice walk or play time. I also live in a quiet apartment so for dogs that may not like as many stimuli, I can provide a quiet home as well.

Availability
I am currently a student at Drexel University. This coming spring and summer I will be working from home full-time so I will have complete mobility to have a dog to watch and have the time to take breaks, pay attention to the dog, and have ample play time inside and outside.
