Dog mom looking to love more pups
Pet care experience
As a current dog mom and passionate pet/animal person, I am looking to find rewarding work in the animal field. I grew up with dogs and am currently dog mom to Diesel, a 4-year-old rescued pit mix. I have complete numerous training/obedience courses with my own pup, and he has some reactivity/behavior issues that I’ve learned to deal with - difficult dogs will not scare me away. My dog is my life, and the stress of finding a caretaker that will treat him just as I do when I am away is of utmost importance, and with Rover I am hoping to provide that same peace of mind to pet parents and same love to pets as I expect for my own little guy, Diesel.

I have known Lauren for 14 years. She is one of the most responsible people I know and definitely an animal lover. She puts her own dogs needs before anything else, and I know she would do the same for your pup!
Lauren K is a born 'dog person'! Her love and respect for all dogs big and small is refreshing. I have seen her interact with dogs and she knows what she's doing. She even has dealt with a dog vs. Skunk! The skunk won but Lauren handled the situation in a calm matter and the dog was enjoying licking peanut butter off of a spoon while Lauren bathed him! I would definitely recommend Lauren K.
If there is one person I’d want to take care of my dog, it would be Lauren. She loves every type of dog and knows specific nuances for each breed. She is a responsible and respectful dog mom and would make watching your dog a breeze. I highly recommend Lauren!

Before walking or checking in on a dog, I would like to know if they have any special likes or dislikes - are they afraid of ball caps, do they go crazy over peanut butter? Let me know what makes your dog unique so I can know what to expect. Mild behavioral issues are not a deterrent, as my own guy takes a bit to warm up to strangers. If your dog is similar to mine, we can arrange meet and greets before care so your pup becomes familiar with me, and me with them.
A typical day
My pup and I frequent many of the parks in Medina County - we love the Medina County Park District and the variety of trails they have to offer to keep walks interesting and fresh. A good ol’ neighborhood walk does just fine, but it’s good to get those pups out to explore new places. I also am well-versed in standard doggy games: fetch, tug of war - you name it! If you pup has a favorite activity, I’m all in.
