DOGS: If hosting at my place, I have a very secure fenced balcony for sun loving dogs to hang out on, but no yard. I leave the door open in nice weather, so they can come inside or hang outside. Dogs get walked twice a day unless otherwise arranged. They aren't allowed on furniture or the bed...though I sometimes make an exception for a morning snuggle. I live by the beach, so we often go there. My (male) partner lives with me, which I mention in case that's a problem for your pet! CATS: Cats are kept indoors full time, unless you want them to get some leashed outdoor time. They are allowed anywhere around the house — cats are their own bosses :) If we stay at your place, we follow your rules and routines!

Let me know what your pet needs! For overnights or recurring walks, I only take on trained or semi-trained / mostly well-behaved dogs (or any cats). I have experience with dogs at all levels, but if we're going to spend a lot of time together, I want to enjoy it! I am happy to accommodate shy dogs and dogs that don't like other dogs, but if they are not leashed trained, it's not a good match. I love to walk active/youthful dogs so we can share in getting some exercise, but I also have experience with older pets who just want to hang out and move more slowly. I don't have a yard, but am an active person who will make sure your pet gets the exercise they need!
A typical day
We love going to the beach, walking around the harbor, playing at the park, and sun bathing at home. We usually start the day with a walk near the water :)
