My very first memory is of my first dog, Boo, a big black lab towering over me with his beautiful brown eyes. Since then I have had an everlasting passion for loving and caring for pets of all kinds. I am an ABC Certified dog trainer who managed a holistic pet food store for 3 years. I also have experience as an adoption counselor and dog walker at the Shelby County Humane Society. I have fostered cats and dogs off and on since I was 18 and am familiar with caring for pets with a variety of needs and handling styles. I have a 12 year old Lab/American Bulldog mix named Bill who I've had since he was a puppy. I am the go to person for friends and friends-of-friends when they need someone to care for their pets. I have experience with dogs of all sizes and temperament, cats, ferrets, rats, and fish. I have always been dedicated to my pets and value each pet I care for as one of my own. My current schedule is very flexible, so I am more than happy and able to learn what schedule works best for you and your pet. My hope is to be able to ultimately do this full time. I am also completely available during the holidays! When given the opportunity to care for your pet, I will practice the utmost respect and diligence. Every pet is different, so I understand the importance of finding someone you can trust to give your pet what they need. I can say with genuine certainty I am that person you can trust. For example, if your pet requires medicine, has certain food or play restrictions, or has a temperament that requires extra care or caution, you can count on me to give you peace of mind that all is well.
