I am a huge animal lover! I have been raised with dogs and cats my entire life. My love of animals led me to my very first job at the age of 15 working at a dog kennel. We would board dogs and cats of all ages and size. I fed the animals, cleaned their cages, took them for walks, and administered medications as needed. Since my time at the kennel my parents have raised two labradoodles who are now elderly and need special medications. One is blind and has diabetes and needs insulin injections, while the other is on a regimen of several oral medications to manage a blood disorder. Whenever I am home I always help administer these medications and have house sat for them while they have been away on vacation. I have house/pet sat for many friends and family over the years. From our friends 60+ pound GSP mix to two 4 pound Yorkies. I do not have experience with any disabled pets, but would be willing to do so given the right instruction. I currently have a 2.5 year old lab mix named Maple and a 7 year old short haired cat named Bubs. Maple is a very high energy dog who requires a lot of daily exercise to stay stimulated and on her best behavior. I love taking her for a long walk, out for a run, or on a hike. She also loves the dog park, getting to run around off leash and meet new dogs. She is very smart and loves to practice and learn new tricks. When she is tuckered out we love snuggling up on the couch together. Bubs is quite the opposite, a very mellow cat, who is independent but at the end of the day also loves to cuddle. They are my fur-babies! My husband and I have just relocated to MA and I am looking to do something I love! I am available any day of the week & on weekends for house/pet sitting, drop in visits, and walks. I'd love to care for your pets and treat them like my own while you are away or at work!
