Lauren was a nice person, however our overall experience with her as a sitter was poor. We have 2 active golden retrievers that require considerable attention. It seemed clear to us that Lauren’s ability to handle 2 large dogs was limited. By day 3 of our trip out of the country we received a text that our dogs were too disruptful and had to be taken elsewhere. This came as a surprise to us and caused a lot of stress and planning on our part during our vacation to find a kennel where they could be taken to. After several hours of calling from Mexico we found a kennel that had space for them in a very small double crate. After 2 days at the kennel, a neighbor kindly went to get them and they stayed with the neighbor and her family for the remaining 4 days without any problems. While she did credit us for the balance of the week, the cost was still almost $400. We will likely not use Rover.com again.

Lauren was great! She sent tons of photo updates on how Bubba was doing which was greatly appreciated. She was also very accommodating with drop off and pick up times which was super helpful with LA traffic! When we picked Bubba up he seemed very relaxed and comfortable with Lauren. The best part is he’s been sleeping since we picked him up & it is hard to tire out the little man! I was so happy with Bubba’s stay with Lauren he is going back in a few days! ☺️
