Hi there! My name is Lauren and I am a professional dog walker and trainer. I have worked with animals for over 3 years in shelters, daycares, training facilities, and dog sitting/walking on the side. I have experience with puppy training and obedience, agility training, leash reactivity, dog to dog reactivity, pack play, and basic dog body language. I am trained in giving oral medication, vaccinations, and routine nail trims. I specialize in shy animals and I love watching them grow into a confident and well rounded animal. Lauren walked both of my dogs on multiple occasions and was very responsible. She knows how to use a slip knot leash , as well as a regular clip on leash. Lauren knows when to be firm, and when to just let them sniff and be slow. She also is good about picking up the dog poop when needed.
Lauren is one of the most loving, caring people I know when it comes to taking care of dogs. She has a lot of experience owning and fostering many different breeds, and gives them lots of attention and care. Being a dog sitter requires the ability to be responsible, and to connect with animals on a deeper level, and this is something that Lauren does with ease. She is a great choice for anyone who needs someone to take care of their dog.

I have a large patio with a “porch potty” for your pup to pee outside. I have three dog beds around the apartment for your pup to rest. We also have a community park walking distance from our apartment and a gated dog park in our building!

Does your pup have any problems with barking or chewing? Is your dog crate trained? What is your dogs energy level? Any special information I should know about your pup?
A typical day
I love to stimulate your dogs physically and mentally. We will go on a long, structured walk where I will implement tricks and treats during the outing. I have lots of puzzles and fun mental games to play along with tons of balls to play fetch!

Availability
I am currently working full time as a pet sitter but I do have class 8-12pm on Tuesdays and Thursdays. My classes are fully online so I am able to care for your pet in home during these zoom meetings.
