Pet care experience
I grew up with dogs and have cared for them all my life. I have experience in walking, feeding, swimming, dog parks, and play. I am able to meet senior dog needs as well, and have experience with providing medicine and diaper changing with patience. I love all breeds and take pride in caring for dogs with confidence and compassion!

Lauren dog-sat for my senior Yorkie Milo, and it was awesome! She's got a fantastic connection with pets, especially older ones like mine; super caring and understanding of his needs. She responded quickly and showed up right when she said she would, ready to take care of my fur baby. Lauren is amazing with animals. She did a fantastic job with our very energetic and bouncy spaniel. She stayed in our home while we were out of town and and was very respectful and amazing to our home. She is responsable, responsive and professional. We would highly recommend her for pet sitting!

I would like to know about your pet's personality! If they have quirks or unique needs I am happy to accommodate. It is important if I will be walking your dog for me to know whether they are leash trained, if they're good with other dogs and various animals we may encounter, (squirrels, birds, etc), and how they do with strangers and kids. If your animal has specific dietary needs or things to avoid, please inform me so that I can be diligent. Does your pet respond to commands? What commands can be used/given? While I am passionate about animal care, I am not a trainer and am not qualified to teach your pet something that isn't already being addressed. I am happy to assist you in the maintaining of behavior by offering consistency in my care and presence.
A typical day
I enjoy walks, hikes, and exploring outdoors with dogs! Dog park dates are always fun too! I often will play fetch or offer some light play indoors when weather is not ideal. I have enjoyed taking dogs for a river day in Spring/Summer if they are a water lover. For cats I enjoy offering indoor play with toys, and pets or brushing to their preference. When outdoor activities leave a dog messy I am happy to offer baths/clean up as well.

Availability
I currently have open availability and a flexible schedule. My overnight stays can include up to 24 hour care, depending on the needs of your pet. I can remain in the home during the day if necessary. I offer 2 walks a day, up to 20 minutes each for dogs. I am happy to substitute a different activity for walks: dog park time, or a local hike, weather permitting. Other specialized care for high energy or high maintenance pets will be an additional fee we can determine. Please reach out to me so we can discuss the specifics of what your pet requires!
