Pet care experience
Family Vacation? Holidays? Last minute trip? I'm here to help! Farm/ Ranch, pups and kittens of all ages! Any animal, I can care for! I have over 25 years of experience with animals. All ages, all kinds. We have 2 kids, an 8 year old and a 16 year old, and we live on 5 beautiful acres! We rescue all kinds of animals and nurse them back to health so if you have an animal with special needs, no worries! I'm your girl and they will be in great hands! It is one of our greatest joys to build those connections with the babies and see the transformation! We currently have 2 horses, a wonky donkey, chickens, ducks, 4 dogs (at one point we had 13!) , and 9 cats. Each one of them is a huge part of our family! I swear, if we could fit all of them in the house or at the dinner table with us, we would! We love the outdoors and are constantly outside playing and spending time with our ranch babies, so even if you just need someone to stop by for a walk or play time, it would be my pleasure to do so!

Our Smokey loved her stay with Lauren. It was a happy cheerful visit. Loved all the other animals. A couple things with our plans changed and Lauren was very flexible. We will use Lauren again.
Lauren is energetic, responsible and wonderful with animals. She has experience owning and/or caring for many kinds of animals including dogs, cats, horses, donkeys, chickens, ducks, sheep and goats. She is a very trustworthy person. I highly recommend her to help care for your animals.

We have wire fencing around our pasture so it's not your typical closed in, backyard fencing. Our pups run free but I would never jeopardize your babies safety! I would make sure your pet was safe and secure while outside the entire time. I do have the ability to separate dogs that are not socialized, however, a $15/night charge will be added to the booking prior to confirmation of the booking due to the added measure needed to be taken to ensure a safe environment for everyone. I do not charge for late or early exchanges, but do ask for advance notice if you plan on dropping off before 8am or after 8pm. I can trim nails, but will not if the dog shows signs of anxiety or aggression.

Would you like to schedule a meet-and-greet before the stay? What’s your preferred method of communication? Do you kennel your pup when you're away or at night? Does your pup have any health issues that need to be tended to? For instance, dietary restrictions, medicine, or behavior triggers? Do you have a vet nearby that you trust? Is your dog spayed/neutered? Does your pup like to stick to a given schedule, like regular walks in the morning and evening? What does your pup do well around? What does your pup try to avoid? What’s the best way to spoil your pup? The only necessities are food and any medications your dog may take. I can administer oral and injected medications. If you would like to bring extras such as toys, blankets, beds, treats, etc you are more than welcome to as well!
A typical day
We will have lots of indoor and outdoor playtime. I want your pup to have a great vacation. If your dog is a senior or less active, we will do things at their pace. Playtime is always supervised. We truly strive to make your pets feel like part of our family. For my human clients, I make sure to respond right away to all communication. For my four-legged guests, I make sure they are always comfortable. They will receive lots of love and attention in our household to feel like they’re part of the pack. I will also send daily pictures of what your pet is up to.

Availability
I work from home and have a flexible part time schedule so I will be able to work with your and your pet’s needs and schedule. I am very flexible and willing to work with reasonable requests and/or modifications, so please feel free to ask! Late drop offs and pickups are accepted as well as last-minute requests, per availability.
