My many years of experience as a dog owner and as a sitter have me prepared for all breeds, sizes, ages and temperaments. Whether you have a Lab who never tires out, a Bloodhound who necessitates constant clean up around the house, or a senior Shih-Tzu who sticks to a strict schedule with walks and meds, I'm your person. I took a break from Rover for a few years, but I've never stopped taking care of cats and dogs. For the past eleven years, I have been working with or caring for animals in one form or another. I began working with dogs during college, where I worked as a handler, training assistant, grooming assistant, and administrative assistant at a top-rated dog daycare and boarding facility in Chicago. Following those 5 years of hands on work at daycare/boarding centers and alongside working with local rescues to pull and foster dogs, I spent several years working at high-end and holistic pet food retailers, educating owners about healthy pet food and care choices. I have had dogs of my own for over eleven years, and currently have one Chihuahua (around 12 years old, have had him for 8 years) and one Pomeranian (10 years old, have had him for 9 years). I've fostered tiny kittens, rescued dogs from the street, and volunteered with different animal rescues for years- I really have seen it all! Note: my dogs will never come with me for overnights or walks. I am generally available for walks/drop in visits in early morning, late afternoon/evening, or at night, but work from home in West Philly so we may be able to work something out depending on how far we live from one another.
