Pet care experience
Hi, I am a friendly, caring and responsible student who has a love for all animals big and small. Who would love to look after your furry friend 😊 I am currently in my last year at Hartpury University, studying Canine Training and Performance. I have experience working in a animal rescue and boarding centre where I was responsible for exercising dogs of all breeds and ages, each with individual needs to cater to. I understand that dogs need both mental stimulation and physical activity for a happy healthy dog, therefore this will be provided suitable for your furry companion :)

Lauren is a fantastic example of a dog lover. I whole-heartedly recommend her. She looks after our dog amazingly well by dog-walking every day and also pet sat while we’ve been on holiday. She’s caring and friendly towards both animals and people. She always stops and talks to all different dogs.
Lauren is a lovely, kind and affectionate animal lover with great experience of caring, looking after and handling dogs and other animals. She has experience of working at a rescue shelter and is currently studying a canine behaviour course at University. She has looked after my dog over night and during the day and he absolutely loved her wouldn’t leave her alone, I highly recommend Lauren. Every animal she interacts with loves her and from such a young age I have seen her passion for animal care grow. She would be a perfect carer for any animal.

I am observant and can understand dogs body language which is crucial for the safety of your dog, myself and others. Using this knowledge I am able to provide whatever it is suited to your dog. I live in a student house with a small courtyard garden, however Gloucester park is a 5 minute walk from the house.

A typical day
Mental stimulation is very important for dogs, just as much as physical exercise, for this I like to use games that involve the use of their senses, such as snuffle matts or find it games where I hide treats in dog friendly hiding spots and wait for them to sniff them out which I play with our family dog and she loves it!!

I am currently a student working part time so I have spare time to help look after your companion whether it is just to take for walks or to give them cuddles & company while you’re away.
