Hello! We moved to FL two years ago and I took a break from pet-sitting but am excited to get back to doing what I love. My love for animals started as a child growing up with dogs, cats, birds (and even hermit crabs :) My husband and I rescued a hound/lab mix from the Charleston Animal Society a few years ago and spoil him rotten. We are fortunate to both work from home and love taking walks with Tyler (our pup) several times a day. Our neighbors joke he gets the most walks of any dog on the block! Your pet will be in good hands with me as I am also a Reiki master and massage therapist and often find pets love energy work and gentle massage for relieving anxiety or achy joints. I am experienced in dealing with temperamental dogs (my own little guy has his issues as a stray) and also with administering medications and special needs dogs. I would love to meet you and your pet(s)! Note on Housesitting: My price includes all pet care (morning/evening routines, walks, etc.) in addition to staying over with your pet and taking care of your home. Rest assured, your fur baby will have all needs met and your home will be cleaner than you left it! : )

Okay so I’m now jealous of my dog-sitter! Mabel has never looked happier than when she is with Lauren. I don’t what it is but she has a secret formula to make my dog happy so I am so relieved that I don’t have to worry about her when I’m away. Thank you Lauren you are the best!!
Lauren was outstanding!! Roxie enjoyed her playdate and we enjoyed the sites in Charleston knowing that Roxie was in good hands! We received photos of Roxie during play and rest moments. If we are ever in this area again we will definitely schedule with Lauren and Ted. We HIGHLY recommend this Rover sitter.
Lauren and Ted are by far my favorite dog sitters. My dog Romeo is so spoiled and well taken care of there that he doesn’t wanna come home! We travel at least every 3 months and they are usually available which is awesome. They love walking the dogs so Romeo is always well exercised too. Also lauren always texts me pics of how happy Romeo is! Definitely use Lauren and Ted! They are awesome!
Lauren is a lifelong lover of dogs and would care for all pets just like her own! She is professional, trustworthy, generous with her time and most importantly, compassionate and loving to all animals. Lauren has watched our dog, Paul, many times and knowing that he is with her while we're away gives me piece of mind. I would need to know about any behavioral issues (food guarding, anxiety, hyperactive, etc). If we are boarding your pup would need to make sure our dogs get along before committing to boarding your pup. Our dog loves to play with other dogs in our backyard, and gets along with most dogs, but occasionally gets little man syndrome with larger more alpha males :)
A typical day
I work from home and luckily have a very flexible schedule to take pups on many walks a day. If the weather is nice we will sit outside in the fenced in back yard. We often take our pup on beach walks or trails like Savannah Preserve and happy to bring your fur baby on adventures too!

I currently work part-time from home and have plenty of free time for walks and cuddles. I love taking breaks to stretch my legs and play.
