I've always had a special place in my heart for animals, but especially dogs. I volunteered at the local humane society all through middle/high school and even fostered puppies that were too young or sick to be adopted. Growing up, I thought I was going to be a veterinarian, and shadowed my family's vet for a summer, caring for the dogs/cats waiting for operations or standard check-ups. My family has had dogs ever since I was born and I feel extremely comfortable handling them at every stage of their lives. I form strong bonds with the animals I care for and will genuinely treat them like they are my own. There is no doubt that your animal will be in good hands.
