Pet care experience
Hi, I'm Lauren! I am a lifelong animal lover, having cared for dogs, cats, rats, rabbits, ferrets, horses, guinea pigs, and fish my whole life. I also have a green thumb, and love taking care of plants and animals and any other living things. I have always been enthusiastic about animals, I especially enjoy caring for dogs and cats in particular. I love getting to know each animal's personalities and quirks, and easing their anxiety when their owners are away. Although I have not worked as a professional dog sitter before, I am the default dog and sitter when friends are out of town - I have watched up to 6 dogs and one cat at one time! I also enjoy training dogs, in particular basic obedience training. I'm a big believer in setting good boundaries with your canine friend so you can have a long hand happy relationship for years to come. I also enjoy walking and running quite a bit, so if your dog needs extra exercise, I am able to provide that as well!

Lauren and Max were great. They had meet and greets with us and made us feel very comfortable with trusting our furbabies with them. They kept in contact with us and cared for not only our furbabies but our house as well.
Lauren, is very responsive to texts/messages which I appreciate. Our first drop-in visit went very well. She was on time, made sure they went outside to do their business, get some fresh air and then gave them some cuddles. My girls were very happy and I loved the pics she sent me!! We're looking forward to our next visit with Lauren.
Lauren is a top notch option when you’re looking for a dog sitter. She has cared for my two dogs on numerous occasions while I was away, and I always know they’ll be in good hands. My dogs are always ecstatic whenever she comes to watch them and are sad to see her go. As a loving dog owner herself, Lauren knows what it takes to be a responsible and caring dog sitter, and those qualities are extremely evident in how she cares for my dogs. I highly recommend her!
Lauren has been a pet sitter for my 70 lbs black lab mix, Vader, on multiple occasions. She is one of the few people I trust with my big dog, and has always taken care of him as though he was her own! Lauren exercised Vader daily and gave him the attention he craved while in her care. I cannot recommend Lauren enough as a dog caregiver.

A typical day
I prefer staying close to home when caring for your pet, but I enjoy walking and jogging, playing fetch, tug-of-war, and basic obedience training (how to heel, sit, lie down, stay, etc) as well as using enrichment activities like lick mats and puzzles to keep pups busy.
