Hi! I’m Lauren and I would love to take care of your pup! My love for dogs has been around since the beginning of my life. When I was young, I would beg my mom to take me to the animal shelter every day so I could go and pet all of the nice dogs. Consequently, for my 8th birthday, my party was at the animal shelter and I asked for my friends to donate things to the animal shelter rather than give me presents. Yes, I was that kid. My obsession with dogs has only gotten stronger from there! While my family has always included at least one dog, my current fur baby is a rescue Australian Shepherd/Black Lab named Molly. Even though she is ~9 years old, Molly still has a ton of energy and happily accompanies me on long hikes and jogs. She is also a fairly nervous dog who sometimes needs me to step in and make sure that she gets the space she needs to feel safe and comfortable when other dogs or small children come running at her. Along with taking care of my own pets, I have a lot of experience caring for the pets of others. While in high school, I pet-sat many different pets on many different occasions. This continued into college, where I took care of three of my professor’s pets over long periods of time. My experience is primarily in dog-sitting, but I have also taken care of cats and various smaller pets and fish. I am also very happy to take your dog for a walk or a jog. On any given weekend, I like to spend as much time outside as possible, and if your dog is down, I would love to take them with me! If you think I’d be a good match for your pet, please contact me!
