Pet care experience
I've never lived without dogs in my home and have been caring for them on my own since age 10. Throughout college I was the designated pet-sitter for my friends, neighbors, and even a few of my professors. My roommates and I currently share ownership of a German Shepherd and a Husky, both female. I thoroughly enjoy taking them for walks, taking them to the dog park, and just caring for them in general, as they bring so much joy and life to our home! Attention to detail as well as reliability are strengths of mine that, along with my love for animals, my past clients attribute to the exceptional care I provide for their pets. As someone who loves the outdoors and is fit, I will be able to take your pet for the walk/play that they need to feel their best. I follow instructions thoroughly and will provide any extra care for your pet as specified. Above all, your pet will receive the utmost attention and love in our time together and will never be neglected! Lauren was awesome! My dog is painfully shy and Lauren was so patient with her! She sent pictures and gave a great description of what they did. Lauren also communicates really well and always responds quickly. I definitely recommend having Lauren take care of your pups!
Lauren housesat for us and watched our 3 year-old German Shepherd for the weekend. She sent us daily updates and pictures, and left our house clean and orderly. Our dog felt very comfortable with Lauren right away and clearly had a great time. Lauren did a great job and we will definitely contact her for future dog sitting needs!

I always follow directions to a T concerning how to take pets outside, and I keep a watchful eye on them at all times. Whenever entering or exiting the home, I make sure to be quick and careful so as not to risk letting a pet escape. I also work to maintain the owner's usual schedule with their pets so as to make sure they are getting consistency and familiarity.

I would just ask to be informed if a pet is aggressive toward any other animals/breeds/people that I may need to keep them from when walking or playing. Also, knowing what words/phrases a pet responds best to is helpful, as I have my go-to commands that some owners may have a different word for.
A typical day
Whenever I stay in a client's home for overnight pet-sitting, I make a point to give the pets the majority of my attention throughout my stay, never allowing them to get too bored or restless. I love being outdoors, so whenever given permission from a client, I like to take their pets for walks around the neighborhood or at a nearby park. If there is a fenced-in area where the pets may be off-leash, playing fetch or chasing them are activities I take joy in just as much as they do!

Availability
I currently work almost full-time during the day, but I still have plenty of availability for overnight dog-sitting, as I have no other commitments besides my day-time job. I'm also available for walks and drop-ins, though only before 8am or after 5pm.
