Pet care experience
I've taken care of dogs of all breeds and sizes since I was 8 years old. Neighbors, friends and family have trusted me to care for their pets through long trips away. For 30 minute walks, depending on your dogs speed I typically walk .8 -1.4 mile, that range depends of course on dog breed and their activity level. For 60 minute walks, typically for larger breeds with high energy, we usually walk around 2-2.75 miles, with water breaks during the walk especially in hotter conditions. After walks I can make sure that your pet has plenty of water and feed them if asked to! I can also administer medication or any other routine that your dog may have.

During walks I am constantly scanning our environment and your pets behavior in order to make sure that they are confident on our route and that there are no triggers that may leave them with a less than amazing experience. I can update you as much as you would like during your pets drop in visit, stay, or walk, and my line of communication is always open.

A typical day
A typical day with your pet would include a nice walk, time to sniff around the neighborhood, and me checking to see if they have water or food until you return. I also like to play with your pet if they are playful, and I do talk to them (animals seem to really appreciate this especially when their owner is gone for a longer time).

I recently graduated from UC Davis and I am currently working part-time at an optometry office, so I have plenty of time to care for your dogs or cats. My schedule is super flexible so we can definitely figure something out.
