Pet care experience
I've taken care of animals (puppies, senior dogs, cats) for over five years now within my personal life, giving the best possible care and attention. I adopted my dog, who was abused, in 2016 when I found out she was going to be put down the next day. My top priority has been making my dog feel as loved as possible, while spoiling her and keeping her healthy. My dog is my world and I promise to treat your dog with the same care and love. I have a lot of experience, including helping my family's previous dog with cancer by giving her chemotherapy, medicine, and prepared/timed-out meals. I promise to send pictures and videos to make sure you know that your dog is in great hands, while having a bunch of fun and snuggles. I have been working from home since early 2020 so I am able to give loads of attention to your furbaby. I am extremely trustworthy and am happy to answer any questions.

Lauren approached my Chihuahua I have had for only 11 months with the respect a mother would go to her infant's crib. She knew intuitively to show him one forefinger before she got in his space. I handed the leash to her and used gentle encouraging words. He really appreciated her and showed it by giving a doggie kiss to her. She is a peach for a senior small dog.
My rescue chihuahua took to Lauren after 10 minutes. My dog is Very timid. A real professional.
There is no one better fit to take care of your furry four-legged baby! Lauren has watched our dog multiple times over the course of the past year. She is responsible and kind, and will take great care of your pet. During her pup-sitting she would take pictures while on walks and send them to me, making me feel comfortable knowing that our dog was getting exercise and fresh-air! I feel very confident leaving our pup with her, and would recommend her 100% of the time for either dog-sitting or walking!
I used Lauren to watch my dog recently when I went out of town for a week, I have a Brittany so she required lots of walking and entertaining to keep her busy. Lauren did a great job with her, taking her on walks/runs every day, playing with her outside and inside, as well as sticking to the food schedule we have her on currently. Having Lauren watch her took a lot of stress off of my plate, and knowing that I had someone I trusted who really cares about animals made this dog mama’s trip that much better since I didn’t have to worry!

I currently live within a very spacious apartment, which is fenced in. I am half a mile from the plaza and can take your dogs on as many walks as needed. I live right across from Nelson Atkins; therefore, I am happy to take your dog out to play and run. I also have a balcony that my dog loves to lounge on!

It's important for me to know what rules the dog has. For example, is he/she allowed on furniture? In a bed? What is the feeding schedule? Can they have a treat or are they on a special diet? How long of a walk do you want your dog going on? Do they need any medication? Happy to accommodate for all of the above!
A typical day
It all depends on what the dog owner is comfortable with! Typically, I take the dog on a walk around Nelson Atkins/Brush Creek as there is lots to smell for them. I love taking my own dog to Loose Park because she loves the grass and trails! For my family's dog, we will go on multiple walks a day and take them to fun places, such as Bar K. I love taking my own dog everywhere with me that allows dogs. I'm happy to accommodate to what the dog is used to/loves :)

I am currently working from home; therefore, your pet will get loads and loads of attention and snuggles. I am big into health and love going on walks so I'm happy to do that for your pup as well. I am willing to adjust to any rules you have for your furbaby and make sure they are getting the same care that they get within your own home. My dog is my life and I promise to treat your dog with the same love.
