Pet care experience
Hey there! My name is Lauren. I have lived in NYC most of my life, and have been caring and loving dogs since 2004. I am an active performer who is looking for additional income. I am looking to help the busy people of this city feel at ease when they need to leave their dogs for any length of time. I have experience in training, so if those services are needed we can discuss it further. I am a former employee of Handy Cleaning Services, and am accustomed to taking care of other people's things. I am working remotely, so I have a lot of time for playing, snuggles, and walks. I find all pets to make excellent co-workers, and my meetings and voice lessons are made better by their presence. I make the process as seamless as possible for your pet. As a newcomer, I go at their pace as they get to know me.
Reviews
Lauren was kind and responsive. She was very attentive to my nine month old puppy who I did not want to leave alone a day after he had surgery. I would recommend Lauren without reservation.
This is the first time I worked with Lauren and I must say that she is an extremely reliable, responsible, and fabulous dog sitter! (And great for nervous dog parents, like me! :) ) She watched my dog Barnaby while I was in Europe for 10 days, and even though I was anxious about leaving him, she will give you total peace of mind with daily updates and photos. I came home to a very content, well kept pup who was sad to see Lauren go! I would highly recommend her to anyone and will definitely be reaching out to her again when I go on future trips!
Lauren was so accommodating and very communicative when it came to house-sitting! Very understanding and helpful during our time away and our pup had a fantastic time!
Lauren was fantastic - she took great care of our energetic puppy Lucy, our senior dog Izzy and our senior cat Bella. In addition to managing their personalities and needs, she also took impeccable care of our house and was very communicative, sending us daily updates and pictures. I would not hesitate to book Lauren again and could not recommend her more highly!

Safety, trust & environment
Since I will be coming to you, my way of caring involves lots of cuddles and playtime. I do adapt and move at your pets’ pace as far as interacting goes. I abide by any rules you have set in place. And will always reach out if I have any questions. I usually clean your space on the last day. That includes anything from a surface wipe down to laundering any linens I used. Happy to give your pup a bath at the end of a stay as well. Again, all of this comes down to your preferences.
Information Lauren G. would like to know about your pet
Any quirks and things that makes your pet special. Do they get scared in a thunderstorm? Should I avoid giving them human foods? Do they have allergies? How do they get along with strangers?
A typical day
I feel it is most important for the dog to feel comfortable, which is why coming to your home is the best idea. Familiar surroundings create less disturbance for your pet. I will abide by any ground work you lay for me, but I am a hands-on type sitter. Lots of play time and cuddling should be in order.

Availability
I work a hybrid schedule. I’m able to take walks and hang in the park or apartment for a majority of the day. I teach voice lessons remotely, and the students always enjoy when an animal or two crashes their lesson.
