Hello fellow dog and cat lovers! My name is Lauren and I'd love to watch or walk your four-legged pal! I moved to Seattle from NY about 10 years ago where I managed a large pet sitting company with roughly a 500 household client base, and now currently work as a Veterinary Nurse. I have 14 years of professional experience in the pet care field, from the most easy going animals to those with fear-aggression or medical issues. I currently specialize in Internal Medicine and have the knowledge to feel comfortable managing and administering medication to the more “complicated” of patients. I have 1 dog of my own, Norman, who I’ve had since he was a puppy ,and now going on 15 years. I'm a very active person, and I have enough energy to watch and keep up with any dog :) Thank you considering me, and I look forward to meeting your four-legged family. BLS/ALS/RECUSER certified.

This will all be dependent on each animal. I typically do not change anything a client will need unless required by my work schedule. I’m sensitive to each pet’s need and if that is something I can’t provide, I’ll let that be know. Peace of mind is the most important thing to me over bookings. I will always think of your pet first.

Aggression issues so I understand their needs. I am completely comfortable with animals getting used to new humans. This allows me to know how they may be communicating with me. How they prefer medication administration. Health issues that may be exacerbated with medications. Pre-diagnosed health issues. As previously mentioned, I work in specialty veterinary medicine so I take everything into account when watching pets.
A typical day
Always dependent on the pet. I love going for runs and walks, so if that is something your pet loves, I’d love to provide that care to them. If they’re a lap pet, I can sit with them and give them the pets they well deserve. If your pet just likes having a silent companion to be present, feed and provide water without too much interaction, I can respect those boundaries.

Availability
Pet care will be dependent on my work schedule (unfortunately!). I currently work with a Veterinary Internal Medicine service and Emergency. This is why I prefer bookings on days I don’t work, as this will allow me the appropriate times to see and treat your pet.
