I have cared for dogs as small as chihuahuas and as active as Aussies, labs, and Golden’s! I am happy to play, feed, and clean up after your pets. Animal snuggles are even better! I’ll haplily send pictures of your fur babies as a check in, if they are doing something cute, or just for fun if you’d like! I have local references and a clear background, as I am a teacher for Rochester schools. I have three cats, 7, 11, and 13, so bringing your pet here isn’t the best idea. With that being said, I am happy to come to your home to care for your dogs or cats— I’ve also learned that this keeps your furry loved ones at ease, as they are in their own environment. Special diets and medication are no problem either! Multiple pets? I can do that!

Lauren was the best cat sitter - she took lots of pictures and gave our cat Maya a lot of love every day. We appreciated getting her notes about their visits. She was even very gracious when Maya was not on her best behavior one day. We are so grateful for her loving care of Maya while we were gone!

Lauren took exceptionally good care of our cats while we were away! She kept us updated on how our cats were doing at each visit. She went above and beyond what we requested as far as litter box maintenance, refreshing water, and playtime. We will absolutely be requesting pet sitting service from Lauren again and are grateful to her for taking such great care of our pets and home!

I think it’s really important to understand how your animal interacts with new people and with other animals. Being fully informed makes for the best situation for the both the animal and sitter!
A typical day
I think it is important to keep consistency for your animals. If your dog likes to go on walks, we will go on walks. If your dog likes to play fetch, we will have a ball! Just because the weather is getting cold outside doesn’t mean we can’t play inside!

PLEASE NOTE: I teach night school at the Alternative Learning Center. During the school year I work 12pm-715pm, Monday- Thursday and on Fridays I am in the building from 12p-230p. I am unavailable for visits during those hours.
