I have over a decade of experience with cats, rabbits, and various breeds of dogs, whether it's owning them myself, through work, or school. I have multiple years of experience as a veterinary assistant at an animal hospital, and at a dog daycare/boarding facility. I earned my Bachelor's degree in Animal Science in 2021 and am currently a second-year veterinary student. I am comfortable and confident with puppies, seniors, dogs with disabilities and illnesses, and those with chronic disease or are in need of additional care or attention. I am Fear Free certified, and have training in dog safety, first aid, and emergency care. Above all, I will care for your animal like my own.

My pets immediately trusted Lauren and enjoyed having her stay and dote on them! I felt very comfortable having her stay in my home; she left everything tidy and was respectful of our space, and her animal and veterinary services experience certainly gave us extra peace of mind!
Lauren is just so amazing with all of our animals. We have 2 dogs, 4 cats, and even some chickens, and she has been so attentive with each of our animals. We have an older dog that has some health needs and she's more than willing to work with us to make sure our dog gets his medications every day. Lauren is a vet student, so it's obvious that she's not afraid to "get her hands dirty" and that she enjoys what she does. I was apprehensive at first about leaving my pets, but because of her, we're now able to enjoy vacations and out of town events without having to worry.

A typical day
For higher energy dogs, I love to walk on the Mopac trail, or play fetch in the park. Other activities like tug-of-war and frozen treats are good options for indoors and dogs with less mobility.

Availability
I typically have class 8am to 3ish, Monday-Friday and will be limited for services during that time. However, I have an hour lunch break from noon-1 and may be able to do a quick drop-in if needed! I am typically free anytime after 3 pm, and am willing to do drop-ins late at night as well.
