Hello! I'm Lauren! I'm laid back but responsible, and I hope to be the kind of sitter that makes your pets happy and you relaxed while you are gone. With several pets of my own that I adore-three cats, a dog, and chickens- I know how much they can be missed when I have to go on a trip. **I have a full time job during the week. I can do lunchtime potty breaks and do not work on Wednesdays. Please keep my weekday availability in mind in relation to your dog's needs. I have worked in vet clinics for the past 7 years, and as a technician for the past 5. I have worked with all different breeds and temperaments of dogs. I have experience giving medication, injections, and re-enforcing correct behavior. Also, I have spent a lot of time giving patient, kind TLC. I don't mind taking a little time with a scared doggie, or working on scaling back a very enthusiastic one. My goal is to make both you and your dog look forward to seeing me, and you to be confident that your dog is in good hands. I enjoy enriching the life of any dog around me.

In-home stays: Your pup will get at least 2 walks a day and multiple potty breaks. I do not stay over full-time but I do make sure they get plenty of attention. Boarding: also twice daily walks and multiple potty breaks.

I would like to know a little bit of background and personality on your pup. How are they with strangers? What do they like to do? What are they not allowed to do? Do they have any history of aggression? I may be able to handle an aggressive dog, but we would need to have a pretty extensive meet and greet first to make sure that those dogs are handle-able by me.
A typical day
I am happy to follow any special care instructions or requests. Usually walks are just around the neighborhood, but if you ask, I'm happy to take your dog on a hike or to the river--always on leash.

Availability
**PLEASE NOTE- If your dog is not cat/dog friendly I cannot board in my home. It would have to be house sitting. Boarding drop offs have to be in the evening if it is on a weekday that is not Wednesday.** I work full time but am off on Wednesdays and the weekends. During work days I can do morning/afternoon/evening potty breaks in between my work schedule.
