Pet care experience
I am just all around a "dog person." I grew up with dogs in the house and now have a pup of my own that I'm very attentive too (ie. she rules the house). We are relatively new to Baltimore but have a small house with a fenced in yard with a doggie door, so your dog can access the yard as it needs (we've trained a few newbees on it! but can also block it off if that's not something you're comfortable with). Our 20 lb rescue pup loves having friends over but is quite independent so she won't bug your dog if it's not interested in playing. My husband and I alternate working from home, and tend to take the dogs with us when we go anywhere (except for quick errands). Furniture is dog friendly and we go on at least two walks a day. We'd love to be a little get-a-way for your pup!

Brendan and Lauren are the best! My pup was with them for about 10 days and came home better trained than when she was dropped off! She had a great time playing with their dog Yazzi and was well taken care of. I will board her again!

We have a fenced in yard with a doggie door that leads to it. We have a crate if that is helpful for your dog (we don't use it much, but can!) and our furniture is pet-friendly (our dog, Yazzie, tends to sleep in bed with us). Your dog will have run of the house unless you prefer it does not.

We do need to ensure your dog is friendly towards other dogs. I'd love to hear about if your dog is a people person! Are they eager to make new friends? We also have a lot of houseplants so please let us know if your dog is likely to chew on them so we can make sure we keep them out of your pup's way.
A typical day
We live in a very friendly dog-walk neighborhood! We tend to go on 2-3 walks a day, an occasional dog park visit or a walk over to the Wyman Park Dell to hang out with some other pups.

I work from home two days a week and my husband works from home full-time, so someone is pretty much always here. We do morning and evening walks, sometimes a mid-day one as well.
