I've had a dog my entire life. My parents adopted a miniature poodle before I was born and he was alive until I was ten years old. He was always a pretty low maintenance dog. After he passed away we adopted a puppy from an animal shelter. She is a miniature greyhound/jack russell mix. I love her with all my heart. I was able to experience her at all stages of life from puppy to old woman. She was very high maintenance when she was a puppy (as most are). She was not very obedient, so we ended up having to take her to obedience class. I attended every class with my mother and learned some really awesome things about dogs that helped us mold her into the behaved, calm pup she is today! I have also owned a golden retriever. We got him from a friend who could no longer care for him when he was less than a year old. He was absolutely insane but I loved him with every bit of my heart. He was almost impossible to tame but we tried everything we could with him. We had him for two years before we had to give him away. He now lives on a farm with my mothers friend and loves every second of it. As far as dog-sitting, my boyfriend who I do not live with has a doberman pinscher who I watch once in awhile. We go for walks and go to the dog park. I am very responsible and careful. I am a hard-worker and I love love love dogs!
