Pet care experience
I have grown up with a mix of large and small breed of dogs as well as cats my entire life. My family has also fostered and rescued dogs and cats, which has shaped my love for animals. My pets have always been like little siblings to me! I would care for your animals just the same - as family! I have experience walking large and small breeds, bathing, giving medications, and cleaning up any messes your puppy or elderly dog may make! I am reliable, responsible, and attentive to the needs of pets and their owners.

Lauren and her partner stayed at our place with our two boys for about 4 days and they had a BLAST! They sent us so many pictures, videos, and updates while we were away… it made us so so happy and feel less stressed and anxious about leaving them. They took our vizsla on so many walks and they both genuinely looked so relaxed and happy in every update we received. We came home to a clean home with clean blankets and towels, which we were beyond thankful for after a day of traveling. We could not thank them enough for loving on our boys!
Lauren took wonderful care of my senior cat & my home. She was very respectful of my space, & she sent regular updates & photos, which is always so reassuring (especially during international travel)! I highly recommend Lauren & would hire her again without hesitation!

I grew up with dogs who took oral medication, had a feeding/walking routine, wore doggy diapers when they got older, and had unique desires (e.g. They loved having a sprinkle of parmesan cheese on their food and liked to drink out of the bathtub :) )

I am open to all breeds, ages, and abilities! I will jive best with medium-energy dogs who are willing to walk around the neighborhood and play but can also relax.
A typical day
I am both active and restful. I love to relax but I also walk through the arboretum or down to the beach daily and would love to have active and healthy dogs join me! If I am caring for an elderly dog I would modify walking length or just snuggle up!

Availability
I work in an office part time Tuesday-Friday and usually tag team overnight stays with my partner, Nils, since he is in grad school and also has a decently flexible schedule. Together we try to not leave your pet alone for more than four-five hours during the day and spend our free time with your fur baby to make sure they get the love, care and exercise they deserve and you are getting what you are paying for! I will always leave your home clean and respect your space. For drop-in visits and dog walks, I usually start my workday at 10:30/11am and wrap up between 6-7pm depending on the day. Message me if interested and I can clarify my availability for the day you are needing care. I thoroughly enjoy snuggling up with animals as well as being active for walks and playing outside.
