If I could give zero stars, I would. Sitter cancelled via text at 1:30am - but because it wasn’t officially cancelled by the sitter, no alternatives were given, nothing was done - nothing still has been done. Because of the short notice, we were forced to cancel our trip, and lost the cost of our airfare. When I brought this up to Rover customer service, the agent suggested I take up the cost of the airfare with the sitter - who incidentally has not responded to my request to even cancel the session. If I do not receive a refund for this session, I will call my bank for fraud. I also expect some sort of compensation for the loss of our airfare. Offering me a $20 credit to a service I will NEVER use again is ridiculous. I cannot possibly believe after multiple messages, Rover has the nerve to not only NOT respond to me, but to expect me to harass a mother whose daughter had to go to the ER that night. The owness is on Rover - who provides not only the structure, but the guarantee. HOW IS IT POSSIBLE THAT STILL NO ONE HAS RESPONDED TO MY MESSAGES, OR CALLED ME BACK? Or even cancelled this job??????
