Three years ago my sister and I adopted an adorable rescue named Hazel. Hazel is a mix, and she weighs about 40lbs. When Hazel came into my life, she taught me everything I know about puppies and dogs. Hazel recently moved to Denver with my sister and I'm looking forward to treating your dog as if they were my own (with lots of cuddles and love). During the Pandemic, my parents and I rescued a dog named Bourbon. She is from Louisiana so thought the name Bourbon fit well! She is a Border Collie/Pointer mix (we think) and as of October 2020 she will be about 10-11 months old. Bourbon is very sweet, loves other dogs and it's been really fun training her over the last 6 months. She splits her time between my parents home which has much more space, and my city apartment (where she gets to play with the neighborhood dogs). She stays with me for about 1 week/month. I like to run and walk with her and recently we started hiking together which she loves. I am very active and would love to take your dog on walks, runs, or hikes on the weekends. I have experience with off-leash hiking or trail running as well. If your dog prefers to chill inside, I also love watching movies and cuddling! I do live walking distance to a large, fenced-in dog park. I also have experience caring for dogs of most sizes- from 20-90 lbs. Your dog is going to feel pampered, exercised and loved by me so that you can have 100% peace of mind! And I promise to send lots of pictures- I know what it feels like to be a dog parent and miss them dearly when I travel.
