Pet care experience
I’m a 29 year old living in Millerton, NY. I have experience spanning from training/raising puppies to caring for a 20 year old cat who needed oral medication administered orally every day. I have volunteered at animal shelters, had a dog with three legs and have endless compassion and care for all animals! Working from home full time gives me flexibility to also care for animals during the week. Happy to take a dog for a quick walk or do overnight animal care.

Lauren is absolutely wonderful with dogs and cats. She grew up with special needs dogs and is very knowledgeable, patient, and kind, but firm when it is required. She also currently has an elderly cat to whom she is very devoted. She has watched my dog on multiple occasions and I trust her implicitly. Anyone would be lucky to have her as a dog walker or pet sitter!

I need to know if the dog will pull or has any aggressive tendencies. If you do have a larger dog this is imperative to how I deal with them. Also, let me know if you feel comfortable allowing your dog to be approached by people or animals on the walk.
A typical day
Dogs can expect lots of walks, treats (if permitted), love and cuddles. Belly and head scratches too! I am happy to lay on the couch and watch a movie with a pup or take them to the park and around the neighborhood for long walks.

I’m currently working full time from home, so do have some flexibility during the week but also can care for animals overnight in the home or can try my home to see if the animal is compatible with my puppy.
