Hi, I am a medical student at Baylor College of medicine. I have had two dogs in my life and babysat countless others for my neighbors and friends. During my gap year prior to medical school, I aided the Dallas animal shelter with behavioral training and play group facilitating to help ensure the dogs at the shelter were given exercise, evaluated for temperament/adoptability, and helped work with the shy/scared dogs to help rehabilitate them. My current pup is a 1 year cavapoo named Clover. I have experience in training and will be able to help maintaining training boundaries that you may have for your pup.

I have a very very large concrete enclosed patio (30x30 feet) that small/medium pups can run to get some exercise (if the pup is a large pup or is a jumper this option is taken away for safety reasons). But my condo is across from Hermann park and has a dog park so there is plenty of outdoor activity space for those that the patio won't work for! I have experience with medication (injection and oral) administration as well as senior care from my last maltipoo who passed away in her old age.

A typical day
I am very active but also relaxed so I will enjoy just sitting in the sun with your pup napping in rays or going for brisk walks and games of fetch/chase at the dog park. If there is anything in particular your pup loves just let me know!

Availability
I mainly help out with other people's pets on Rover when I am off rotations or on the weekends that I have free time so that my schedule is flexible enough to give the pups the attention they want and need :).
