I have been working with animals professionally for the past 12+ years, with majority of my experience being in dog grooming, boarding, and equine care. I am a current registered member of the National Dog Groomer's Association of America, and American Red Cross certified in Canine & Feline First Aid. Before I began working with dogs, my primary focus was on horses, and I graduated with a certificate in Equine Sciences. I have three personal dogs; a Dachshund mix, a Toy Poodle, and a special needs Pit Bull mix. My Pit Bull mix was born deaf and suffers from severe separation anxiety, environmental and food allergies, an immune disorder, and a condition called megaesophagus. I am able to administer medications (oral & injection), follow specific feeding instructions, bathe, groom, trim nails, entertain, walk, and focus on mild behavioral issues.
